The Window AC is sometimes referred to as a room air conditioner as well. It is the simplest form of an air conditioning system and is mounted on windows or walls. It is a single unit that is assembled in a casing where all the components are located.
This refrigeration unit has a double shaft fan motor with fans mounted on both sides of the motor. One at the evaporator side and the other at the condenser side.
CFD (computational fluid dynamics), used in blade shape design of turbojet engines, has been applied to the design of air channels in air conditioners to develop the ideal air channel system (air circulation). The airflow of the jets created in this system enables a large volume of air to be blown with minimum power consumption, yet the airflow is uniform, quiet and reaches points a long distance from the blower.
